About Jane Robson

Jane has worked in dentistry for around 30 years, beginning her career as a dental nurse before progressing into practice management. Although she gained valuable experience in both roles, Jane always felt most at home in the clinical environment and particularly enjoyed the opportunity to work closely with patients.

Motivated to develop her clinical career further, Jane studied at Newcastle University and qualified as a Dental Therapist in 2009. Since then, she has continued to expand her knowledge and skills, completing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Studies as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Aesthetic and Restorative Therapy with Dr Monik Vasant.

Jane provides a wide range of treatments, including routine hygiene care, periodontal therapy, restorative dentistry and fillings for both adults and children. She has a particular interest in aesthetic and restorative dentistry and enjoys being able to combine prevention, education and clinical treatment to help patients improve both the health and appearance of their smiles.

One of the most rewarding parts of Jane’s role is helping patients feel relaxed and comfortable during their visits. She particularly enjoys supporting nervous or anxious patients and takes the time to build trust, helping them feel more confident about attending the dentist. Patient education is also an important part of her approach, and Jane enjoys sharing practical advice and knowledge that patients can use to maintain a healthy smile between appointments.

Jane also values the long-term relationships she develops with patients and enjoys welcoming familiar faces back for their regular visits.

Outside of dentistry, Jane is a proud mum to her son, who lives in London and works in law. She also has three dogs — Frank, Murphy and Betty — who keep her busy with plenty of early morning walks and outdoor adventures. Jane enjoys gardening and is currently developing her greenhouse skills, as well as going to the gym and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
